Rev. Leslie Moughty has served First Congregational UCC in Brainerd, Minnesota since 2015. Her ministry weaves together worship leadership, justice organizing, and care for an Open & Affirming congregation that has chosen welcome as a public practice. Leslie earned her Master of Divinity from Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California in 2013, and was selected in 2016 for the United Church of Christ's Next Generation Leadership Initiative — a decade-long cohort for early-career local-church pastors.
